A Family Story
After running the Auberge du Cavalier in St-Georges (VD) during 10 years, Maryse and Gérard Ferry took over the Café du Commerce in Aubonne in 1984. They have transformed it into a legendary place with a magical atmosphere. The essential decorative elements come from de famous Parisian Saint-Ouen flea market !
A graduate of the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne and the Ecole d’Oenologie de Changins, Olivier Ferry took the helm of the Commerce on January 1st 2013.
The Ferry family counts no less than five generations of hoteliers !
In 1993, after 12 years spent at the Buffet de la Gare in Gland alongside André Mermod, the Chef François Claveau took over from Maryse Ferry in the kitchen.
